Happy Halloween!

Boo! Happy Halloween! Want some tips? Here you go:

  • Plan your route ahead of time.
  • Trick or treat in familiar neighborhoods.
  • Carry a flashlight with fresh batteries after dark.
  • Take along money for a phone call.
  • Wear identification that’s easy to read.
  • Always trick or treat in groups, accompanied by an adult.
  • Follow a curfew and take a watch with a backlight.
  • Stay on the sidewalks and out of the streets. Cross only at intersections and designated crosswalks.
  • Don’t run! Walk!.
  • Don’t trample through flower beds and gardens.
  • Watch out for open flames in jack-o-Lanterns.
  • Walk with your head up and be aware of your surroundings.
  • Only visit well lit houses. Don’t stop at dark houses.
  • Don’t enter any houses unless you know the people.
  • Carry a spare Halloween bag, in case yours breaks or you fill your original one.
  • Don’t approach unfamiliar pets and animals.
  • Don’t cut across yards and stay out of backyards.
  • Always watch for cars backing up or turning.
  • Review the ‘stop, drop and roll’ procedure in case your costume catches on fire.
  • Never accept rides from strangers.
  • Respect other people and their property.
  • Be polite and say ‘Thank you’.
  • Don’t eat any candy until it’s inspected for tampering under bright lights.
  • Avoid candy that has loose wrappings, is unwrapped, has puncture holes, or is homemade.
  • Small children should not be allowed hard candy they may choke on.
  • Report any suspicious or criminal activity to an adult or the police.
  • Consider having a party instead of Trick or Treating!

6 Things

I know that some of you are annoyed at Elyon for how naive she is. But she really should’ve realized some things on her own:

  • At first, she should’ve noticed the non-stop lightning in the dark Meridian sky around the castle.
  • Of course, she needed to calm down and listen to what her friends had to say, and figure out why the rebels never stopped fighting (I guess she was still in shock about the whole thing of being a princess from another world).
  • She needed to know some Greek or Latin words, because ‘Phobos’ means ‘Fright’ or ‘Phobia’.
  • In Season 1 Episode 14 (Parents’ Night), when Cornelia immobilized Cedric with vines, Cedric turns into his serpent being for a second to free himself from the vines. Elyon could’ve seen his face.
  • Elyon has immense powers, right? Why didn’t she use them to spy on Phobos (just like what he did to watch over her)?
  • She could’ve asked Miranda more about Meridian and its history.

Ooops…

Watch Season 2 Episode 22 (Victory)! Phobos, in order to show his kindness and appreciation, brings Cornelia some lunch. But he also touches her hand, and as a result she freaks out! What do you think Caleb would do in this situation?

Where is…?

If you watch Season 1 Episode 17 (The Mogriffs) closely, you would find that when Caleb hides the Seal of Phobos behind his back, it vanishes when he bows to Elyon. Wouldn’t it be funny to know where it is now? 😀

Cornelia and Caleb

Cornelia and Caleb – a sweet couple! Here’s what I think:

Cornelia might be a bit cold or harsh around others, but on the inside, she can be very romantic. Caleb should also try to spend a little more time with her rather than fighting for Meridian or watching over Phobos. In Season 1, Cornelia hides her feelings from Caleb, until she discovers that he likes her as well. However, in Season 2, she gets very cross with Caleb for leaving her to protect the ‘Queen’, but later (when she found out that he would still do anything for her, like embarrassing himself while ice-skating or even dancing awkwardly) she accepts him the way he is, even sometimes addressing him as ‘Boyfriend’. The funny thing about the two is whenever Caleb gets into some sort of trouble, Cornelia’s always there to protect or save him. It may be odd, but she usually takes the lead in partnerships!
