‘Cook with Blunk’ Recipe 3

Surprise! This month Blunk’s making Oatmeal Chocolate chip cookies! Yum…

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation:

First, preheat the oven to 350° F. Cream the butter, sugars and the eggs  together until well blended.  Then, combine baking soda, salt, flour and add to the creamed mixture.  Next, add in the oatmeal and stir with the chocolate chips.  Finally, drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
